This Organization strives to provide a Program that sets and maintains high standards of Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity among all of its participants. *Saugus Youth Lacrosse would like to thank its Players, Parents, and Coaches for participating in this past years very successful inaugural season. We experienced a great turn out and received an incredible response from all involved and the popularity of the sport has grown greatly here in Saugus. Our Players have developed skills at an unbelievable rate, learned the game, experienced real game action, enjoyed a year-end celebration, and had a lot of fun along the way! We are sure Saugus Youth Lacrosse is here to stay for many years to come.
SYL is excited to announce that with all of the Interest, Progress, & Success we’ve had we will be entering The Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League (MBYLL) for the upcoming 2010 Season. www.mbyll.org For this coming season our Organization will be enrolling teams at 4 distinct age levels in the MBYLL. Beginning this spring our teams will compete in regularly scheduled real game action against opposing, neighboring Youth Lacrosse Organizations. Typically games are Sunday afternoons with 1-2 practices per week. Practices will start in March weather permitting and the games normally run April-Early June. SYL is currently in talks with the Local Youth Baseball Programs and doing our best to coordinate schedules to cut down on conflicts between the two sports.
